As a result of their impressive burgeoning growth, the Newcastle-based outsourced sales and event marketing firm Rego Interactions surprised their top performers with an all-expenses paid luxury trip to Croatia.
The purpose of the trip was not only to celebrate the firm’s recent outstanding successes, which has seen them take on new clients and supersede their targets but also acted as the perfect opportunity to develop networks and learn techniques from the most respected and successful entrepreneurs in the sales and marketing industry.
During the four-day trip, Mr Davies took the opportunity to reflect on the firm’s incredible milestones and evaluate the ways that they can continue to add value to their events in order to maintain their respected status and become industry leaders. In the competitive sales and marketing industry, it is becoming increasingly important for business owners to stand out and set themselves apart from their peers. As an ambitious and driven entrepreneur, Mr Davies believes that business travel is an excellent way to gain a competitive edge as it enables professionals to tap into a global network of like-minded individuals. Mr Davies also feels that business travel significantly enhances creativity, which in turn helps cultivate business innovation and growth.
According to a 2015 study conducted by the American social psychologist Adam Galinsky, which aimed to investigate the links between creativity and international travel, researchers found that there was a direct correlation between time spent abroad and the creative output of Creative Directors who spent time working abroad.
Rego Interactions’ recent trip to Croatia has enabled the firm to boost their own creativity and evaluate their growth strategy while brainstorming ideas with some of the most seasoned entrepreneurs in the sales and marketing industry.
Speaking on how their visit to Croatia has inspired him to build on the firm’s existing success, Mr Davies said “The sales and marketing industry is constantly evolving, and in order to stay relevant and innovative, it’s important to regroup and share ideas with senior figures that you trust. We all feel extremely inspired by our trip to Croatia and are looking forward to implementing some of the ideas in the near future.”
